Burglars make away with gold, cash from KSRTC officer’s house

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a woman KSRTC officer’s house, have made away with gold ornaments, silver articles, cash and household items in city. The burglary took place at the house of 39-year-old N. Pushpalatha, a Junior Assistant at KSRTC and residing in DTS Rao Nagar at Sathagalli.

Pushpalatha, on Dec. 7 morning had gone to her mother’s house at S.S. Nagar and returned on Dec. 9 morning to find the gate lock broken. She found the burglars had broke opened the door on the first floor and had made away with 210 grams gold ornaments, 1 kg silver articles, Rs. 7,000 cash, one LED TV, two watches and two mobile phones, all worth Rs. 11.57 lakh.

Mysuru Rural Police have registered a case.
