Bus passenger loses bag containing gold ornaments

Mysuru:  A couple, who had kept gold ornaments in a bag which they had kept in the luggage carrier inside a KSRTC Rajahamsa bus, was stolen while travelling between Mangaluru and Mysuru on July 11.

On July 11 night, Tilak Prasad and his wife, residents of Vijayanagar in city, boarded a KSRTC Rajahamsa bus in Mangaluru to Mysuru. After locating their seats, they kept their bags in the luggage carrier inside the bus and sat down. One of the bags contained gold ornaments weighing about 112 grams.

When the bus reached Mysuru, the couple alighted at Aishwarya Petrol Bunk stop and went home. After taking rest, they opened the bag containing the jewellery only to find it missing and have lodged a complaint at Vijayanagar Police Station in this regard.
