Can you blow cigarette smoke on someone’s face?

Mysore/Mysuru: Two unidentified persons assaulted a 15-year-old boy for a trivial reason. The duo blew noxious cigarette smoke on the boy’s face and the boy got irritated and questioned them. Irked by the boy’s questioning, the duo assaulted the boy black and blue. 

The incident took place at KHB Colony in Hootagalli on Feb. 11 and the boy, who sustained severe injuries, is S. Darshan of KHB Colony. He has been admitted to a private hospital in city.

On Tuesday at about 6.30 pm, Darshan was walking near St. John’s School at Hootagalli when two unidentified persons, who were smoking, blew the smoke on his face. When Darshan questioned them on this, the two persons abused Darshan using foul language and beat him up with sticks. As a result, Darshan’s hands were fractured. He later filed a complaint with the Vijayanagar Police.
