Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Mysuru, had organised a capacity-building training programme for part-time Instructors who will conduct vocational courses at various places of Mysuru district, in collaboration with JSS Women’s Polytechnic, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
As part of action plan for dress-making course 2020-21, the Sansthan imparted sewing machine basic repair training to the Resource Persons.
Mahadevaprasad welcomed. D.M. Shashikala, Director, JSS Jan Shikshan Sansthan, explained about taking COVID precautionary measures in the training centres. Puttaswami, Resource Person, JSS Women’s Polytechnic, gave demo of joining and repair of different parts of the sewing machine.
In the second session as part of 105th Jayanti of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji, JSS Jan Shikshan Sansthan organised a written question- answer session for part-time Instructors.
Channabasappa, former Director, described the achievements of Sri Rajendra Mahaswamiji citing many examples.
The third session was a demo on sanitiser preparation, which one can prepare easily at home. 25 resource persons and all staff of Jan Shikshan Sansthan participated in this programme.
JSS Jan Shikshan Sansthan was conceived as an institute for conducting skill upgradation programme in non-formal mode in rural and urban slums of district.
