Car falls into ditch, 4 injured

Srirangapatna:  In an incident, four people were injured when the car (KA-02 AH-7685) they were travelling in fell into the ditch after skidding off the service road near Ganangur on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, on Thursday.

The injured have been identified as Sunil, Naveen Kumar, Sagar and Tandava, all aged between 22 and 24 years and residents of Malligere in Mandya taluk. The incident occurred near Sri Basaveshwara Temple at Ganangur, when they were returning to Mandya from Mysuru.

The driver lost control and skidded of the road and the car toppled multiple times before falling into the ditch. Fortunately, no casualty was reported.

Srirangapatna Rural Police Inspector B.G. Kumar and staff rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the General Hospital before registering a case.
