Shubham Shashanth (20), a 6th semester student of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering and hailing from Jharkand, reportedly committed suicide by hanging at his room near the College in Vijayanagar on Thursday night. Vijayanagar Police, who have registered the case, handed over the body to the parents of the deceased yesterday.
