Cattle thief nabbed

Mysuru: Villagers have managed to catch one of the three cattle thieves, who had come to steal cows at Shivapura village near Srirampura and have handed him over to the Police last night.

The alleged cattle thief who was caught by the villagers is 24-year-old Mudasir, a resident of Rajivnagar in city.

Mudasir, along with two others were attempting to steal a cow tied in a cowshed near Ashwini Kalyana Mantap in the village when the villagers surrounded them. While two of Mudasir’s accomplices managed to escape in the dark, the villagers caught hold of Mudasir and handed him over to Vidyaranyapuram Police.
