Cauvery Cricket League Corporate Tennis Ball Cricket: DC-XI bags winners’ trophy; MDJA finishes runners-up

Commemorating the 10th anniversary celebrations, Cauvery Heart & Multispeciality Hospital had organised Cauvery Cricket League (Season-2), a Corporate Tennis Ball Cricket Tourney, at Teresian College Grounds in city recently.

A total of 19 teams from across the city, including Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA), Fire Department, DC Office, Columbia Asia Hospital, Prerana Hospital, HCG Oncology Hospital, JSS Hospital Team-A and Team-B, K.R. Hospital, DRM Hospital, Jayadeva Hospital, Brindavana Hospital, Sigma Hospital, NH, Clear Medi Radiant Hospital, Clumax, Bhanavi Hospital, Cauvery Hospital Team-A and Team-B participated in the Tournament.

While the DC-XI team emerged winners, MDJA team bagged runners-up trophy.

Sadashiva of MDJA team bagged ‘Best Batsman’ and ‘Man of the Series’ titles while M.S. Vijay of Jayadeva Hospital won ‘Best Bowler’ title.

Prizes were distributed by MLA L. Nagendra, MDJA General Secretary K.J. Lokesh Babu and Cauvery Heart & Multispeciality Hospital Chairman Dr. G.R. Chandrashekar during the presentation ceremony.

DC-XI team: Satish (Captain), Shariff, Mahendra Kumar, Aruna, Velu, Rajeev, Mahesh, Jayakumar, Srinivas, Vishwanath, Kanthi, Mahadevaswamy, Jagadish, Basappa and Malikarjuna

MDJA team: Ram (Captain), Satish, Ranjith, Madhusudhan, Dileep, Suresh, Sadashiva, D.D. Ramu, Krishna Kumar, Harish, Avinash, Chandru, Nagesh, Punith and Lohith.
