CCTV camera, DVR stolen from finance office

Nanjangud: Burglars, who gained entry into ESAF Small Finance Bank office at Kanakanagar in the taluk by breaking open the rear door, have decamped with a CCTV Camera and a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) from the office.

On Oct. 7 night, the staff closed the office for the day and left. On Oct. 8 at about 2.28 am, Sindhu, the Manager of the Office, received a call from V. Protect team, who informed her that someone had touched the locker at the office.

Sindhu immediately informed about it to Nanjangud Police, who along with the finance office staff, rushed to the spot, only to find the rear door of the office forcibly opened. On entering the office, they found the CCTV camera and the DVR stolen.

The burglars had also attempted to open the locker.

A case has been registered at Nanjangud Rural Police Station.
