Gold ornaments stolen at AYUSH Staff Quarters

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house at AYUSH Staff Quarters, have decamped with gold jewellery.

The burglary took place at the residence of AYUSH Assistant Medical Officer 40-year-old R. Radhamani. On Sept. 30, Radhamani had gone to Tumakuru to meet her daughter. On Oct. 7, she received a call on her phone from the security guard, who informed her that the door of her residence was broken.

Radhamani, who returned, entered the house and on inspecting the belongings, she found 44 grams gold jewellery stolen.

A case has been registered at Jayalakshmipuram Police Station.
