Mysuru: The Chamundeshwari Electricity Company (CESC) has restored “Electricity Helpline 1912” for the consumers of Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mandya and Hassan districts. Also, the shifting of the CESC Centralised Customer Care Centre office has been completed.
Consumers can henceforth register their complaints like power supply interruption/ bill payments etc., through toll-free electricity helpline 1912.
- A complaint received at customer care centre will be registered immediately in PGRS (Public Grievance Redress System) Software and docket number will be sent to the consumers via SMS to their mobile numbers.
- SMS will be sent to concerned sub-divisional officer/ section officer or local service station simultaneously to solve the complaint. Service station personnel will visit the problem area/ place to rectify the problem.
- Once the complaint is resolved, the complaint is closed after getting confirmation from the consumer.
- Consumers can track the status of their complaint through online in website http://www.cescmysorepgrs.com
- The reasons for delay if any in attending complaints or progress of restoration will be updated in the software.
- Higher officers will monitor complaints registered and resolved through report generated by PGRS software.
