CFTRI employee wins Natl. Tennis Championship title

Mysuru, Apr.18- R.N. Ramesh, employee of CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, excelled in All India Senior Tennis Championship organised by Jaipur Tennis Club Jaipur, in association with AISTA at Jaipur (Rajasthan) from Mar.24 to 30.

In 55+ Doubles category, Ramesh, along with Paul Manohar of Guntur (AP), defeated top seed Yogesh Shah of Ahmedabad  and Ajay Lakotiya of Pune (MH) by 6-3, 7-6(2) in the finals.

In the semi-finals, the duo defeated Meghanath from (TN) and his partner Sanraj of Vizak (AP) by 6-2, 6-4 to move to finals.
