Chain snatched at BEML Layout

Mysore/Mysuru: Chain snatcher has snatched a gold chain from a woman at BEML Layout 2nd Stage in city on Mar. 17 evening.

The woman, who lost her gold chain, is 52-year-old Parvathi Aadi, a resident of BEML Layout.

On Mar. 17 at about 6 pm, Parvathi was walking in front of Sri Mahadeshwara Provision Store, when the chain snatcher, who was standing along with his scooter, yanked off her 40 gram gold chain.

As Parvathi held on to the gold chain, the chain broke and the chain snatcher managed to flee with about 18 grams of the gold chain. A case has been registered at Kuvempunagar Police Station.
