Chain snatched in city

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have snatched a gold chain of a woman, who was on her way to purchase vegetables. The incident took place on Netaji Nagar Main Road on Jan. 16.

The woman, who lost her 30 grams gold mangalya chain is 65-year-old Prabhamani.

She was on her way to the vegetable shop at about 6.30 pm, when a miscreant, who came in front of her, yanked off her gold chain and sat pillion on the bike with a rider nearby and fled from the spot.

A case has been registered at Alanahalli Police Station.
