Chain snatched in city

Mysuru:  A Bike borne miscreant has snatched the gold chain of a woman at J.P. Nagar in city recently.

The victim is Mahadevamma. According to the complaint lodged by her at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, Mahadevamma was returning home from a bank at about 10.45 am, when the bike borne miscreant, who was wearing a helmet,  yanked off her gold chain weighing about 68 grams and worth about Rs. 1.4 lakh near the Ganapathi Temple junction at ‘A’ Block and sped away.

Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
