Chain-snatchers strike again

Mysuru:  After a brief lull, chain-snatchers have struck again in city, with an elderly woman losing her chain to miscreants on Friday.

Vasanthakumari, 74, a resident of Bankers Colony in Bogadi, is the victim. Vasanthakumari was returning home walking on 13th Cross, Bankers Colony, Bogadi, on Friday morning, when two-bike-borne miscreants who came from behind yanked off her 68 gms gold chain and fled in a flash. The jurisdictional Saraswathipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
