Kollegal:  Premkumar (27), son of Chamarajanagar Zilla Panchayat (ZP) President Shivamma, reportedly ended his life by hanging self at his residence at Palya in Kollegal taluk on Sunday. Prem Kumar is said to have taken this extreme step when his parents were away on poll campaign and his elder brother had gone to a hotel. The reason for his extreme step was not immediately known.

The deceased Prem Kumar’s father Krishna was  the District President of Congress ST cell. His mother Shivamma was elected as the Chamarajanagar ZP President just a few days ago.
