Charlatan duping women arrested, 361 gm gold recovered

Mysuru:  Devaraja Police have arrested S. Manjesh, 34, of Hurulichikkanahalli in Nelamangala taluk of Bengaluru Rural District on Dec.9 at city bus stand. On interrogation, the Police learnt that Manjesh was involved in 13 cases, six in city and one each in Tumakuru, Arakalagudu, Nagamangala, Soladevanahalli, Chamarajanagar, K.R. Pet and Hassan.

The Charlatan Manjesh was said to have convinced gullible elderly women about getting loan and financial assistance from the Government and had received gold jewels from those women.

The Police have recovered 361 gm gold worth Rs.1 crore.
