Prasiddhi Bhat (Class VIII) and M.N. Spurthi (Class VII) of Acharya Vidya Kula, represented Karnataka State team consisting of five players in the National Chess Tournament in U-14 girls category, organised by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) at Amritsar recently.

The Karnataka team won the II position.
