Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Chinnara Kalarava,’ the annual day of the Nursery section and ‘Shishirotsava,’ the annual day for students from 1st standard to 10th standard of D.A.V. Public School, was held on Dec. 17 and 23 in city. Chinnara Kalarava was held at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road in which the tiny-tots showcased their talents.

The event, inaugurated by School Chairman N. Sachidananda Murthy, Hon. Secretary R. Anand,  CEO  Jayashree S. Murthy, Principal K.R. Shobha and Vice-Principal M.S.  Mangala, was witnessed by the children and their parents.

‘Shishirotsava’ held at NIE Auditorium was inaugurated by MLA G.T. Devegowda and KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse.  Cultural programmes and dance feature ‘Shivathandava’ by the students were appreciated by all. Various dance forms including Odissi, Kathak, Yakshagana, Mohiniattam etc. were performed.
