August 17, 2018

Mysuru: The Wayanad District Administration in Kerala, Kodagu District Administration and Mysuru District Administration have sought the support of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), Mysuru, for the flood- affected people in Kodagu and Wayanad areas. Kodagu Administration has requested for volunteers who have experience in handling emergency situations in the Industries.

In a press release, CII Mysuru Deputy Director T.U. Augustine said, “Since Industries are having such trained employees, the District Administrations have sought CII support.

There are already 15 people starting today to Kodagu and another 15-20 people will be travelling tomorrow to Kodagu, awaiting District Administration’s directions for the deployment. Automotive Axles, N. Ranga Rao & Sons and JK Tyres have already allocated people to support District Administrations. More companies have agreed to send more volunteers.”
