CISF Head Constable dies on poll duty in UP

Mysuru: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Head Constable from Mysuru died of heart attack while on poll duty at Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

R.K. Prakash (48), who was serving at the CISF unit in RBI Note Printing Press here, was deputed for poll duty at Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh from where Sonia Gandhi is contesting as the Congress candidate.

Prakash was on poll duty yesterday morning, when he complained of severe chest pain and died of heart attack, according             to sources.

His body is likely to arrive in Mysuru tonight.

Prakash, a native of Hunsur town in Mysuru district, is survived by his wife and two children.
