May 25, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a city advocate’s car met with an accident near H.D. Kote this morning killing his five-year-old daughter.

Advocate Dhananjay, who is a resident of Rajarajeshwarinagar in Mysuru, was driving his Mahindra Xylo (KA-45-M-1041) from H.D. Kote along with his family towards Mysuru today at around 9.30 am. While Dhananjay works at the City Law Courts, his father works as Forest Department employee and settled in H.D. Kote. There were five occupants in the vehicle.

The accident occurred near Karigala when Dhananjay was avoiding a motorbike that was coming from the opposite direction. He lost control over the vehicle and the SUV turned topsy-turvy.  The impact was such that the advocate’s daughter Himani sustained severe injuries.

The family and passers-by rushed her to a hospital in H.D. Kote from where the child was referred to Apollo Hospital in Mysuru where she breathed her last. A case has been registered at H.D. Kote Police Station.
