City devotees demand development of Sri Shivakumara Swamiji Circle

January 30, 2019

Mysuru: Urging for development of Dr. Sri Shivakumara Swamiji Circle, about 50 devotees of late Siddaganga Mutt Seer, under the banner of Shivakumara Swamiji Bhakta Vrunda staged a demonstration in front of MUDA on JLB Road here yesterday.

“Although the Circle near Jagadamba Petrol Bunk on Vishwamanava Double Road in Kuvempunagar has been named after Shivakumara Swamiji long back, the Circle has seen little development. Though the MUDA sanctioned Rs. 50 lakh a couple of years ago for road widening and other works of the Circle, nothing much has progressed  so far,” the protestors said and demanded MUDA to initiate immediate measures for development and beautification of Sri Shivakumara Swamiji Circle.

Corporator K.V. Sridhar, former Corporators K.V. Mallesh and Jayashankaraswamy and others took part in the protest.
