City gets lady snake-rescuer

Mysore/Mysuru: The Belagavi-based lady snake-catcher, Snake Madhu, has claimed that she has rescued a total of 6,000 snakes since the past 12 years.

Addressing a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city on Friday last, Snake Madhu, who has now made Mysuru her home, said: “I have been into the job of rescuing snakes for more than 12 years now. If people find any snakes in their surroundings, they should immediately inform a snake-catcher instead of killing them. People can contact me also on my Mob: 7337693392.”
