Softball players in Mysuru will be organising the Mysuru Softball Premier League 2017 for men and women on Apr. 1 and 2 at the Maharaja College Grounds. Teams from Mysuru and Mandya are expected to participate in the championships.

The tournament will be inaugurated by C. Ramesh, State Vice President, KSLECA, Bengaluru and a Sports Promoter tomorrow at 9am at Sports Pavilion, University of Mysuru. Dr. C. Venkatesh, Chairman, DOSPESS, University of Mysore, will preside. Arjun Ranga, Managing Partner, Ranga Rao & Sons, will be the Chief Guest, M.B. Huchagoundar, Retd., PED, JSS Women College, Mysuru, Dr. R. Suresh, Special Officer, VTU PG Center, Mysuru, will also be present.

The valedictory event will be held on Apr. 2 at 4 pm. Prof. Seshanna, former Principal, DOSPESS, University of Mysore. Mr.Venkat Rao, Physical Education Director (retd.), JSS College, Mysuru will also be present.
