City master athlete excels

Mysuru’s S.M. Uma has secured gold medals in 5-km run, 5-km walk, 1,500 mts run and a bronze medal in 4×100 mts relay of the 2nd South India Masters Athletic Open Championship 2024 held at Mahatma Gandhi District Sports Ground in Ajjarakadu, Udupi, under the aegis of Udupi Masters Athletic Association on Mar. 9 and 10. With this win, she has been selected for India and Sri Lanka Masters Athletic Dual Championships 2024 to be held at Colombo in Sri Lanka in June.
