City MMA athletes win medals at Fitflix Expo – Fight Night

Two Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athletes of Academy of Martial Science won both their amateur MMA bouts at the Fitflix Fitness Expo – Fight Night held at Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, on Mar. 26.

Six pairs of fight with various upcoming fighters from South India featured in the event.

Samarth Vikram won his Bantam weight bout against Balu from Telangana via a unanimous decision and Mohammed Zaid won his Welter weight bout against Sai Vamshi from Hyderabad via a TKO (Technical Knockout). The event was hosted by Association of Mixed Martial Arts Karnataka and sanctioned by MMA INDIA. They are all trained at AMS by Kru Vikram and Coach Kiran led the team.
