City musician bags award

Mysore/Mysuru: City-based musician Vidwan C.S. Keshavachandra has bagged Sangeetha Shiromani title and a Gold Medal for his outstanding  flute performance  in the open category at the International Level Karnatak music competition-2020 organised online by Chennai-based ICMDA (of Thyagayya TV).

Vidwan Keshavachandra, who had bagged the first prize at the All India Akashvani musical event held in 2019, has brought more laurels to the city by winning the prestigious Sangeeetha Shiromani title and the Gold Medal.

Vidwan Keshavachandra is the son of Vidwan C.A. Sridhar,  Principal, University Fine Arts College at Manasagangothri, Msyuru. Showing keen interest in Music, he learnt his early lessons in music from his father and  took part in major music concerts at a young age of 12 years, thus drawing the attention of  music-lovers.

Vidwan Keshavachandra, who is an Engineering graduate, is employed with J.K. Tyres in Mysuru.
