Library Department to donate 8,243 books to Syed Isak’s Kannada library

Bengaluru: The Department of Libraries will donate 8,243 books to the Kannada library of Syed Isak at Rajivnagar in Mysuru, who was destroyed in a fire, said Minister for Primary & Secondary Education S. Suresh Kumar.

The Minister further said that as soon as he heard the news of the Kannada library being destroyed in a fire, he had instructed the Director of the Library Department to provide books to the Kannada library and added that a proposal has been sent to Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation at Kolkata to help Syed Isak.
