City Police teams inspect factories

January 29, 2026

Mysore/Mysuru: Following the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raids at a factory in Hebbal, the City Police have gone on alert, with teams visiting factories in Hebbal and surrounding areas to inspect the premises.

More than 20 officers and staff drawn from various Police stations began the checks this morning.

As part of the exercise, the Police are inspecting factory units and industrial sheds and collecting details of factory owners and building owners, lease agreements, lessees, contact numbers and residential addresses.

The materials stored in the factories are also being checked with details sought from employees about the production, stocks and despatch. In cases where industrial sheds are found locked, the details are being recorded and forwarded to the Police Commissioner’s Office.
