City Police to auction seized vehicles

Mysore/Mysuru: Various two-wheelers, which are unclaimed and stationed at Saraswathipuram Police Station, will be auctioned if the owners do not claim them within 10 days by producing relevant  documents.

This is a routine process and the vehicles are auctioned once the jurisdictional Police get orders from the Court. These vehicles have been seized by the Police for various traffic offences and also if there is any crime involved and the same has been adjudicated by the Court of law.

The two-wheelers stationed at Saraswathipuram Police Station are: Hero Honda Splendor Plus (2), Bajaj Pulsar (8), Hero Honda Passion (1), Scooty Pep (2), Yamaha RX 135 (1), Hero Honda Splendor (2), Bajaj V 15 150 CC (1), TVS Apache RTR (1), Honda Activa (2), Discover DTS (1), Bajaj CT 100 (1), Kinetic Honda ZX (1), White Karizma (1), Hero Puch (1), Yamaha RX 100 (1), TVS XL Super Heavy Duty (1), Bajaj Discover (1),  Honda Unicorn (1), TVS Scooty ES (1), Honda Dio (1) and                                                                     TVS XL (1).

Over 15 vehicles that have been seized following road accidents and have been stationed in the Devaraja Police Station since 90 days as the owners have not claimed them. The Police have urged the owners of the following vehicles to claim them by moving application at the Court failing which the vehicles will be taken into Police custody and will be auctioned as per procedure.

The vehicles are: Goods auto (KA-09-C-9022), Autorickshaw (KL-10-R-6194 and KA-12-3752), TVS Victor (KA-09-EC-7321), Tata 207 goods vehicle (KA-10-4553), Bajaj Autorickshaws (KA-05-A-2804 and KA-06-A-0534), TVS Suzuki (KA-04-W-1569 and KA-50-EP-1367), Bajaj Pulsar (KA-02-EM-9392), Premier Padmini (KA-09-M-5004), Hero Splendor (KA-09-HJ-7634), Mahindra Goods Auto (KA-55-2481), Tata Ace Goods Auto (KA-55-4737) and Bajaj Passenger Autorickshaw (KA-06-A-8335), according to a press release.

KRS Police Station: The owners of one car and nine two-wheelers, despite sending them notices to claim their vehicles have not responded and hence the following vehicles will be auctioned after obtaining Court order.

The vehicles are: Maruti Ritz (KA-03-AD-9505), Bajaj Caliber (KA-03-EN-2599), Kinetic Velocity (KA-09-EC-7782), Scooty Streak (KA-02-HJ-1870), Hero Honda Splendor (KA-09-EB-8828), Kawasaki Caliber 115 (KA-04-EE-7421), Suzuki Samurai (KA-32-J-2108 and KA-05-EC-3233), Honda Activa (KA-11-ED-3538) and Honda Unicorn (KA-09-EE-9498).

Owners of the above vehicles are urged to contact the Inspector of KRS Police Station, produce relevant documents and claim their vehicles.
