Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust will be conducting a classical vocal duet by young artistes — Vijetha Subrahmanya Kabekkodu and Venkata Yashaswi Kabekkodu on Aug. 16 at 6 pm at Sri Lakhminarasimhaswamy Temple, SBM Colony, Srirampura, Mysuru.
They will be accompanied on violin by Shrirama Kanchana (disciple of Vid. Venugopala Shanubhogue, Vid. H.K.Narasimhamurthy and Vid. A.Eshwara Bhat Kanchana) and on mridanga by Dr. Akshaya Narayana Kanchana (disciple of Vid. A.Eshwara Bhat Kanchana)
Artistes’ Profile
Vijetha Subrahmanya and Venkata Yashaswi are the disciple of Vid. A. Eshwara Bhat, Kanchana in vocal music. Additionally, Vijetha has also learnt violin from Vid Venugopala Shanubhogue and Vid. H.K.Narasimhamurthy, while, Venkata Yashaswi is trained in mridanga by Vid A. Eshwara Bhat Kanchana.
Both the talented young artistes are from Kasaragod and pursuing their professional courses, according to a press release from Vid. H. K.Narasimhamurthy, Vice-President.
