August 28, 2019

This is the situation on the roadside near Lions School at Hootagalli. Garbage, which is littered on the roadside is scattered all over the place and is not cleared since months, said residents who added that following recent rains, the place has become a breeding place for mosquitoes and flies and also a hub for stray dogs. Residents and school children are unable to move on the road due to the unbearable stench emanating from the garbage. Authorities concerned are urged to get the place cleaned at the earliest and CCTV camera be installed to catch the culprits who dump wastes and garbage at the place to penalise them.
