Clothes worth lakhs of rupees stolen from godown

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen clothes and cash worth lakhs of rupees from a godown in Devaraja Police limits.

M. Mahesh, who sells clothes on the footpath of H.R. Road cross in Devaraja Mohalla, had kept the clothes in the godown nearby. Thieves, who broke into the godown by forcibly opening the godown door on Jan. 18 night, have made away with seven sacks of clothes and Rs. 8,000 cash, according to the complaint lodged at Devaraja Police Station.
