August 4, 2017

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who seemed to be shaken by the sudden and surprise Income Tax raid on Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s houses and offices, took the State Intelligence personnel to task. The Chief Minister reportedly summoned the State Intelligence Officials to his home office Cauvery and sought an explanation from the officials, yesterday. It is reported that State Intelligence DGP A.M. Prasad was taken to task for not getting any information about such a massive I-T raid.

Siddaramaiah was angry on the presence of CRPF personnel who have been deployed outside the D.K. Shivakumar’s residence at Sadashivanagar while the officials continued their search. The CM questioned Prasad that what were his officials doing when such a big development was happening under his very nose.
