CM’s State-level Janaspandana at Vidhana Soudha on Feb. 8

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be holding  a State-level Janaspandana in front of Vidhana Soudha here on Feb. 8 and will receive grievances from people to redress them on the spot.

L.K. Atheeq, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, conducted a preliminary meeting with senior officers in this regard on Wednesday.

“Janaspandana programme should be arranged in a sophisticated manner, as the CM is holding such an event for the second time. Secretaries and Heads of all the Departments should be present and take special interest to find solutions to the grievances. Besides, all required arrangements should be made for the comfort of specially-abled persons and senior citizens,” said Atheeq.

He also directed the Officers to make arrangements related to water, refreshment and food.

Atheeq also informed that he would write to all the Departments to dispose off all the grievances received during the previous Janaspandana at the earliest. The Chief Secretary to the Government will also be requested to revive the progress of disposal of Janaspandana applications received at KDP meeting too, he added.

Free transportation arrangements should be made for the benefit of people arriving for Janaspandana, from KSRTC bus stand at Majestic and Railway Station.

Separate counters should be opened to receive grievances related to different Departments and the Department of e-Governance should provide required furniture and staff. Facilitation teams comprising officers and staff should be deputed at the entrance to direct people towards designated counters after verifying their applications.

Police Department should ensure that there would not be any lacunae in security arrangements and also traffic management.

Secretary to CM Dr. K.V. Trilok Chandra, Secretary of e-Governance Department Ujwalkumar Ghosh, Secretary of DPAR Dr. M.N. Ajay Nagabushan and other Officers were present.
