‘Co-curricular activities essential for holistic development of children’

Mysore/Mysuru: Participation in curricular and extra-curricular activities plays a very important role in enhancing the physical and mental health of children, said H.R. Bhagvan, Secretary, Hari Vidyalaya, Mysuru.

He was addressing the students on the occasion of 68th Kannada Rajyotsava, 536th Kanakadasa Jayanti and Children’s Day celebrations, held in the institution recently.

Principal Dr. N. Bharathi Shankar, who addressed the students, said  that educational development is possible only through active involvement of students in all the activities of school. Teachers, non-teaching staff and students were present on this occasion.
