Collection of fines by company: Ola auto drivers damage glass windows, office furniture

Mysuru: Alleging that Ola company was unnecessarily collecting money from them as fines, Ola auto drivers, who barged into the Ola office at Bhyrava Complex on New Kantharaj Urs Road here, damaged glass windows and furniture on Saturday.

The auto drivers alleged that the company had given various discount offers to the customers and to make up for the discount money, the company was levelling false allegations against them and were collecting money from them as fines.

Lakshmipuram Police, who rushed to the spot, brought the situation under control but have not registered any case as the Police are awaiting complaints from the office staff and from the company’s headquarters.
