Commissioning of Power Line: Villagers cautioned

Mysuru: Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has set up 66/11 KV line Sub-Station Centre at Chandahalli village (Madapura)  in T. Narasipur taluk of Mysuru district.

KPTCL grid transmits electricity at high voltage from Power Stations to Sub-Station from today. High voltage power will be commissioned through Talakad- Hemmige – Jalahalli line.

Residents of these villages are requested to keep away from this high tension tower erected along the stretch. People should not tether cattle, grow plants, fly kites, and remove any metals from the nearby tower.  KPTCL will not be responsible for the loss of life and property, if any, according to a press release from KPTCL Executive Engineer.
