‘Common man is deprived of fundamental necessities’

February 9, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru unit of Concerned Citizens of India (CCI) had organised a convention, ‘Shoshita Janagala Samavesha’ on the topic ‘We need employment, education and health, not CAA, NPR or NRC’ at Town Hall premises in city yesterday.

Speaking after inaugurating the convention, retired Professor of Hampi University Dr. Chandra Pujari, said: “Earlier, they made Ayodhya and Kashmir as a big political issue which is over now. They have brought CAA, NPR and NRC now for political gains. And the Congress is obsessed with caste politics.”

“Politics has become a good business for making money. Our elected representatives are leading a luxurious life, but common man is deprived of fundamental necessities, including food, health and education,” he said.

Former IAS Officer Sasikanth Senthil addressed the gathering. State Convenor of CCI B. Ravi, Senior Software Technician K.G. Satish, retired Principal Vidya Shankar and others were present.
