District Congress Wing had organised ‘Janavedana’ programme at the town Congress office here recently.

Speaking on the occasion, District Congress President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had initiated demonetisation by flouting democratic norms and inconveniencing the common people.

He added that the much-hyped action did not bring any positive result and black money stashed abroad had remained intact.

He further said that Modi was behaving like a dictator giving false hopes hoodwinking the common people.

Former Zilla Panchayat (ZP) President Dr. Pushpa Amarnath, Town Congress President H.S. Shivaiah, Rural Block President Basavaraje Gowda and others were present on  the occasion.
