Congress postpones its mock funeral rally to Feb.8

Mysore/Mysuru: The Congress party has postponed its mock funeral rally that was to be to be taken out  yesterday (Feb. 6) in city in protest against rising prices of fuel and other essential commodities and Public sector privatisation moves of the Centre, to Feb. 8.

Former MLA M.K. Somashekar said that the rally has been postponed due to inevitable reasons. Now the rally will be taken out from Sanskrit Pathashala Circle on Sayyaji Rao Road at 10 am on Feb. 8, during which replicas of Central PSUs  that are going to be privatised, will be carried on a Bamboo stretcher (Chatta) to the Burial Ground at the foot of Chamundi Hill, he said.
