Conmen arrested: Electrical cables worth Rs. 22 lakh seized

Mysuru: NR Police have arrested three conmen on charges of cheating businesspersons after purchasing products from them online and not paying the money. The Police have seized electrical cables worth Rs. 22 lakh from them.

The accused have been identified as Atheeb ur Rehman, Imran Khan and Zameer, all residents of Rajiv Nagar in city.

The accused, under the name of Victoria Infrastructure, used to cheat businesspersons by purchasing products from them saying that they were constructing apartments and used to abscond after failing to pay the money.

A complaint in this regard was lodged at Vijayanagar Police Station. As the jurisdiction came under N.R. Police, the case was transferred to them. NR Inspector Ashok Kumar, who began investigations, arrested the accused.
