Consider Newspaper Distributors as Corona Warriors: Association

May 22, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru District Newspaper Distributors Association has appealed the Government to consider Newspaper Distributors as Corona Warriors.

In a memorandum submitted to MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag at her office here on Friday, the Association office-bearers said that journalists have been declared as ‘Corona Warriors’ by the Government for the vaccination drive for people in the age group of 18 to 44 years.

Likewise, newspaper distributors and agents and their family members too should be considered as ‘Corona Warriors’ and given priority for vaccination.

Pointing out that there are many students aged above 18 years  who work as newspaper distributors, they reiterated that they should be vaccinated on priority after considering them as Corona Warriors.

Association President P. Suresh, office-bearers Venkatesh Babu, Shantesh and B. Suresh were present.
