Convention on Tipu Sultan

Mysuru – Karnataka Komusouhardha Vedike and Progressive Associations will be jointly organising a Convention on Tipu Sultan on May 4 on the occasion of the late King’s death anniversary, said Vedike State General Secretary  K.L. Ashoka.

Addressing press persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan here this morning, he said that a bike rally from Srirangapatna, where Tipu breathed his last fighting the British, has been organised in the morning followed by the convention at the Karnataka Exhibition Grounds in Mysuru.

He said that about 5,000-6,000 people from across the State would be attending the Convention.
