Coorg Wildlife Society ex-President suffers fracture in wild tusker attack

Mysore/Mysuru: Coorg Wildlife Society former President Col. (retd.) C.P. Muthanna sustained a fracture when a wild tusker attacked him at his estate in Ammathi, South Kodagu this morning. 

Col. Muthanna was on his usual morning walk at his estate, when the tusker attacked him. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was provided first-aid and was later shifted to a private hospital in Mysuru for further treatment. 

Sources said that Col. Muthanna has suffered a fracture on his right leg and was out of danger.
