Cop’s scooter parked in front of house stolen

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants stealing the scooter of a Police Sub-Inspector, that was parked in front of the house at Fort Mohalla on Monday night, has caused tension about the safety of vehicles of the residents.

The Cop who lost the scooter is M.S. Bandi, a Sub-Inspector attached to Lakshmipuram Police Station in city.

The Sub-Inspector, who returned home after her duty at about 11 pm on Monday, parked her Honda Dio scooter in front of her house, opposite to Srikantha Vidya Samsthe and retired for the day.

When she woke up in the morning and opened the door, she found her scooter missing and even searched for the vehicle in the surroundings but in vain and immediately lodged a complaint at K.R. Police Station.

K.R. Police Inspector Srinivas, who has registered a case, has collected the CCTV footages of camera installed in Fort Mohalla and launched a hunt to trace the stolen scooter.
