Mysuru: As Naada Habba Dasara is about to begin in about two weeks from now, city authorities seem to have taken up necessary preparations for the festival on a war-footing.

The much-awaited filling up of potholes along Irwin Road in the heart of the city began with Guddali Puja this morning.

Area Corporator Nagaraj launched the works.

Potholes caused by road-widening works on Irwin Road will be filled and repaired at a cost of Rs.10 lakh.

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Zone-6 Development Officer H. Nagaraj, Junior Engineer K.R. Chandrashekar, Executive Engineer Nagaraj, ex-Corporator Kushal Kumar, Brahmachar and others were present during the occasion.
