‘Country still reels under social and economic imbalance’

August 10, 2019

Mysuru: Dalit Sangharsha Samithi (DSS), Mysuru District had organised        a seminar on ‘Modi’s Navabhratha – Yarige Banthu Swathanthra?’ at Town Hall here this morning.

Inaugurating the programme former Rangayana Director H. Janardhan (Janni) regretted that revoking special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 was an unanimous decision of Modi-led government without seeking any opinion from the residents of that State. He warned that the whole country would face a repercussion of the decision to be borne by the people of the country.

Speaking on the occasion writer Shivasundar ridiculed that there is literally no Government in the State with no Cabinet formation. He said that it is pathetic especially when rain is battering all parts of the State. He further said that India and Modi have become synonyms literally and pointed out that governance cannot be a one-man-show. He contended that Modi’s false promises has continued social and economic imbalance in the country.

Raitha Sangha President Badagalapura Nagendra, DSS State Convenor Guruprasad Keregodu others were present.
